MSl offers two different Soundfield models. Both have advantages in various applications.

The 'Clearvoice IR' has many functional advantages, including being a hub for your complete media  system in a classroom. One of its main advantages it the fact that it works by 'Infra-Red' wireless technology meaning that there is absolutely no restrictions with using many systems in one school.

The ClearVoice IR model will be available from Feb 2009

Using the Clearvoice system.

1) The system is easy to use. When you have the speakers connected and the system Switched on, all you need to do is to put the headset on, turn on the transmitter speak into the boom microphone.

2) The volume is adjusted by the main volume control at the receiver unit. The correct  setting is to set the volume 15 - 20 dB above ambient noise. A simple way to do this is to speak normally into the microphone and ask the students if they can hear you They will tell you if it is too loud. Stand close to a speaker, if you get an echo, it also meant that you have the volume up too loud.

3) The transmitter can be clipped onto your belt. A lynard has been provided to enable you to hang  the transmitter around your neck.

4) The system has a range of approximately 100 metres. Please make sure that you switch the  transmitter off when making personal conversations or if you wish to speak privately to a student.
